The breakfast was excellent. We had a River Rhine view room, but our 4th-floor room's view was limited by the canopy above, which spoiled our view of the city on the opposite bank. Nevertheless the river traffic was fascinating with so many different barges and cargoes plying the river. Well worth the extra rate for the room. It was just a ten-minute walk to the city along the iconic railway bridge crossing the Rhine, which is likely to be the busiest rail bridge in the world, according to Google. Such a variety of trains, it was so interesting to see. I'm a train buff.

Excellent shower and hot water, the bathroom worked perfect all the time. Perfect bed, not so much for the pillows but that's too personal honestly, the mattress excellent. The room is big and well equipped with an awesome TV with chromecast included. The service attention couldn't be better. They even stored the luggage on check-out so we could go to lunch The location is good, really close to the center and cathedral.

The breakfast was truly exceptional, unlike anything I've experienced at any other hotel—way beyond expectations! Although it was a bit crowded and perhaps some additional tables could be added, as there seemed to be space available, it didn't detract from the quality. Simply amazing! The hotel didn't charge for parking, which might seem like a small detail, but it felt generous—especially considering that most German hotels do charge for parking. Given the hotel's prime location right in the heart of the city, this was a much-appreciated bonus! The location is undoubtedly one of the best features of this fabulous hotel!
